Badger head meets small mammal camera trap
// Our Education Officer Helen got a little bit of surprise when collected some of the camera traps we’ve had at a school in North Wales this week.
The small mammal camera, an adapted camera trap designed to give pupils close up views of the mice and voles that live at their school, had a visitor. A visitor that was a little bigger than the intended visitors.
As you can see, the visiting badger didn’t hesitate in hovering up the bonus food and happily chewed it up, with its head still in the small mammal box.
The pupils were also treated to full-views of the resident badgers too, as well as a host of other local characters.
