A Minox DTC 650
We’re delighted to say that NatureSpy are now fully authorised dealers for Minox camera traps.
After keeping a close eye on the Minox range and hearing lots of favourable reports, we’re looking forward to getting our hands on them and putting them through their paces.
Early signs are very good – they have extremely good and strong build quality and excellent photo quality. Minox are known for making cameras, so we expected them to be strong in this area.
The DTC 650 also has a market-leading 60 IR no-glow LEDs – a huge amount – giving it one of the biggest invisible night-time flashes currently available. We also have the DTC 400, which is the slimmest camera trap available, and again has a strong list of features.
The sensors also appear to be very reliable, and they come with colour LCD screens as standard.
On the first night of testing the DTC 650 a woodcock showed up – a very cryptic animal that we rarely capture. Even on a camera trap photo, its excellent camouflage still works well – see if you can spot it!
