November Pine Marten Enewsletter

Roe deer captured on NatureSpy's camera trapThe latest edition of our Yorkshire Pine Marten Project newsletter is now available online.

This time, the camera traps were in Bear’s Wood, one of the biggest areas we’ve monitored yet.

It turned out the wildlife was very busy – meaning our cameras were too!

We caught a roe deer having a scuffle with a branch, a grey squirrel mother carrying her young, another roe deer trying to hide, plenty of badgers and a bird species that we still haven’t 100% identified!

This was also the last assignment on the project for the camera traps this year – the project will resume again next year in the Spring.

We’ll also be looking for volunteers to help us run it – if you fancy getting involved, keep checking our volunteers page where we’ll be posting more details shortly.
