Camera trap workshop with Mammal Society approaching

Mammal Society and Cheshire Wildlife Trust Camera Trap Workshop

One of the participants finding a good spot for his camera!

It’s not long until our next public workshop with The Mammal Society, on the 4th October at the Moors National Park Centre in Danby.

A whole day of camera trapping, covering a wide range of topics, from the earliest pioneers, how camera traps are used across the world in conservation and management, to how they work – and you even get to put out one of NatureSpy’s camera traps yourself, which we’ll collect a week later.

We normally deliver these workshops to staff and volunteers of large environmental organisations, so this is your chance to attend and become fluent in all things camera trap.

At the last workshop with the Mammal Society, participants captured foxes, badgers and even tiny ducklings on our camera traps – so who knows what will be hiding in the forests near Danby – perhaps even a pine marten?!

There are still a few places available, and you can book online here.

If you would like more information on what the day will entail, feel free to get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
